Embalse de Guadalest
Más allá de la ciudad y rodeado por moles rocosas como el Ponoig, Aitana, Serrella y Aixortá, nos encontramos el embalse de Guadalest.

El embalse se nutre de distintos riachuelos que provienen de las sierras que le rodean y del río Beniardà. Aguas abajo de la presa, se denomina río Guadalest, que es un afluente del río Algar (que desemboca en Altea).

Beyond the city and surrounded by rocky masses such as Ponoig, Aitana, Serrella and Aixortá, we find the Guadalest reservoir.

The reservoir is nourished by different streams that come from the mountains that surround it and from the Beniardà river. Downstream from the dam, it is called the Guadalest River, which is a tributary of the Algar River (which flows into Altea).
