Ayuntamiento de Toledo

La construcción de la casa Consistorial de Toledo (España) no se planteó de una manera aislada, sino con vistas a establecer su relación con la Catedral, a través de la plaza que vincula a ambos edificios. La reforma de esa plaza y la construcción del nuevo consistorio estarán íntimamente unidos; incluso la propia plaza adoptará el nombre del Ayuntamiento, a pesar de tener edificios tan importantes en su perímetro como la Catedral y el Palacio Arzobispal.

The construction of the town hall of Toledo (Spain) was not raised in isolation, but in order to establish their relationship with the Cathedral, through the square that links the two buildings. The reform of the square and the construction of the new consistory will be closely linked; even the square itself will adopt the name of the City, despite having such important buildings on its perimeter as the Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace.
