El Morro de Toix

El Morro de Toix es la terminación en el mar de la Sierra de Bernia. Está situada entre las poblaciones de Altea y Calpe y corresponde al plano de una falla que forma parte de un conjunto de fracturas que rompen la Sierra de Bernia en su parte oriental. Con cerca de 300 metros de altura, la Sierra del Morro de Toix es utilizada para multitud de deportes. Podemos practicar el buceo más impresionante, donde se puede bucear por cuevas y observar las entrañas de la sierra. Se puede practicar el parapente desde la salida que hay en la parte alta y disfrutar de unas magníficas vistas de Benidorm, Altea, Calpe y Moraira. Y también podemos escalar en las verticales paredes de más de 100 metros de altura sobre el mar.

The Morro de Toix is the termination in the sea of the Sierra de Bernia. It is located between the towns of Altea and Calpe and corresponds to the plane of a fault that forms part of a set of fractures that break the Sierra de Bernia in its eastern part.
