Catedral de Ciudadela
La Santa Iglesia Catedral-Basílica de Santa María se encuentra en el centro y punto más alto de la ciudad de Ciudadela de Menorca, perteneciendo a la Diócesis de Menorca. Se trata de un templo de estilo gótico catalán y construido entre los siglos XIII y XIV por expresa orden de Alfonso III de Aragón tras la conquista de la isla a los musulmanes, en 1287. La catedral recibió el título de basílica menor en 1953, concedido por Pío XII.

The Holy Cathedral-Basilica of Santa Maria Church is located in the center and highest point of the city of Ciudadela de Menorca, belonging to the Diocese of Menorca. It is a Catalan Gothic style temple built between the 13th and 14th centuries by express order of Alfonso III of Aragon after the conquest of the island by the Muslims, in 1287. The cathedral received the title of minor basilica in 1953, granted by Pius XII.
